Mary Bernadette Bonatti's Obituary
BONATTI, MARY BERNADETTE was born on December 31, 1933 in Dublin, Ireland and passed from this earth on May 25, 2012 at home in Garland, TX. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bonatti who she met in Spain and married on October 15, 1960 in Dublin. Mary is also survived by children, Bernadette Breen, Maria & Jackie Garrison, Vincent Bonatti, Linda and Rick Manning, Sharon & Wade Newton, Kathleen Bonatti Brooks, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and other relatives in Pennsylvania, England, Ireland and Austria. Grandma/Granny May was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and called family her jewels – but she was actually our gem. She was proud to become a US citizen in 1972. She enjoyed playing bingo, videoing family, and could sew, quilt, knit, craft, or fix anything. She loved her dogs and relaxing at the lake at Pelican Bay. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Visitation from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 29th at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Services at 3 PM, Wednesday, May 30th at Restland Wildwood Chapel with burial following in Whispering Waters Garden at Restland.
