Mary Craig Booth's Obituary
Mary Craig Booth of Dallas, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Booth was born on June 11, 1924, in Omaha, Nebraska to Eugene and Ruth Craig. She and her husband, George Booth, owned a well-loved toy store, Booth’s Toys, for 32 years before retiring. During the course of her life, she was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, OUTSTANDING cook and BAKER, lifelong host and caretaker to numerous pets, and devoted Christian. She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Booth of Dallas, Texas; sons, Larry Booth of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband George Booth. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory to Operation Kindness or Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County The family request visiting hours be observed on the morning of Sunday, May 27, 2018, at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on at 11:00 AM in the Acacia lawn section at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Mary Craig Booth have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
