Mary Louise Bosco's Obituary
Mary Louise Utley Bosco was born on October 23, 1926 in Taylor, Texas and went to be with her heavenly father on November 22, 2023. Louise moved from Taylor to Luling when she was a young child. She then moved to San Marcos and graduated from San Marcos High School. She worked at the military base where she met her future husband. After moving to Dallas, she began working for Kelvinator appliances. She also attended UTA.
She then began a career at General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) where she managed the commercial paper division of the regional finance department in Dallas. She truly loved her job. After twenty-three years of service at GMAC she retired due to the fact that her department was moving to Detroit and she did not want to leave Dallas.
She was an active member of Owenwood United Methodist Church and later White Rock United Methodist Church. Louise was a loving Christian woman that always put God first in her life.
After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering with many organizations, including the Bethlehem Center, United Methodist Women, AARP, Meals on Wheels, and numerous others. She served as an officer of several of the volunteer organizations. Louise was also an avid reader up until her death.
She also fostered two precious little dogs from Richardson Humane Society that ended up being foster failures as Louise fell in love with them and could never let them go. Heidi and Nelson were lucky little dogs to have Louise as their Mom and she loved them dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother, two sisters, and a brother.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah and many friends she has made throughout the years that she considered as extended family.
We truly appreciate those who loved and cared for her at The Villages of Lake Highlands.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Old Gate Lane, Dallas 75218, Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, or Richardson Humane Society.
The funeral will be a private ceremony.
