On behalf of the Adesulu family, we extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Grandma Mary Ann Bussey.
Grandma Mary’s life was a testimony to God’s faithfulness. Three years ago, when 25 men and women representing the Adesulu family from Nigeria came to Houston to ask for Brittany’s hand in marriage, Grandma Mary sat as the proud matriarch of the Bussey family. That day she welcomed us into her family, and her joy—especially when she danced—made clear that God was still at work in her life. Her energy, warmth, and loving presence continued through Brittany and Philip’s wedding and in the birth of her great‑grandson Ace, who further strengthened the bond between our families.
We were blessed to witness her devotion and the generous love she showed at family gatherings. Though we grieve her loss, we take comfort in the promise of heaven and the certainty that she is now rejoicing with her Creator. We will not mourn as those without hope; we will look forward to seeing her again.
May God comfort the entire Bussey and Crawford families during this difficult time.
