Mary Alice Campbell's Obituary
Mary Alice Campbell, a beloved mother, passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 89. Mary was a graduate of Forest Avenue High School, class of 1952, and went on to work as a personnel specialist for the IRS for over 20 years. She was also a licensed real estate agent. Mary was known for her adventurous spirit and love of travel, gambling, and spending time with her extended family.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Joe Bailey Knott, her mother, Alma Drain Knott, two brothers, George Joe Knott and Edgar Lee Jack Knott, two sisters, Joan and Nancy June, brother-in-law Maynard Wilmer Riegel, and two nephews, Edgar Lee “Jack” Knott, Jr., and Eric Joe Knott, as well as her son-in-law, Gregory Barrett Williams.
Mary is survived by her four children, David Charles Campbell, Lisa Ann Moore, Karen Treadwell Campbell Williams, and Kevin Treadwell Williams, daughter-in-law Debbie Campbell, eight grandchildren, Francessca Ann Dennis, Taylor Walter Moore, Braydon Christopher Williams, Tory Hunter Williams, Shelby Holiday Williams, Ryan Alexander Campbell, Sydney Lauren Campbell, and Jolie Nicole Campbell, grandson-in-law Chaz Dennis, granddaughter-in-law Grisel Williams, and four great-grandchildren, Noah Dennis, Grace Dennis, Jack Walter, and Charlotte Williams.
Funeral services and burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Restland Wildwood Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Restland Funeral Home, located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
Mary Alice Campbell will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
