Mary Claudell Cantrell's Obituary
Mary Claudell Cantrell, 75, died Tuesday February 2, 2021 at the Dallas Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Ms. Cantrell was born in Dallas in 1945. In 1964, Ms. Cantrell graduated from Bryan Adams High School where she excelled in band, choir, orchestra and, of course, academics. She was elected secretary of her senior class. In 1968, Ms. Cantrell received her BA in psychology from North Texas State University and she later continued her studies in pursuit of a master’s degree at SMU. Ms. Cantrell was predeceased by her father, John Marion Cantrell and mother, Mary Ella Cantrell, both of Dallas. Ms. Cantrell is survived by
her brother, Greg Cantrell of Oakland, California, her niece, Ellen Cantrell of Brooklyn, New York and her cousin, Alex Hoover of Rockwall, Texas. Ms. Cantrell was buried at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas near her parents.
