Mary Nell Cash's Obituary
Cash, Mary Nell 82 of McKinney, TX. Passed away Feb 6, 2011 in Plano from complications from pneumonia. Born February 26, 1928, she was a woman with a big heart, strong opinions and great moral conviction. She was a faithful friend, loyal mate and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was an avid golfer, water skier and oil painter in her younger years. She loved decorating and entertaining friends. In her later years, she traded her golf clubs and paint brushes to dote over her two great-grandchildren whom she adored. She will be laid to rest next to the love of her life, her loving husband of 55 years-W.Leon Cash. She is survived by her daughter Claudia Coomes, granddaughter Kellie McFarlane and great- grandchildren, Brennon McFarlane and Abbie McFarlane, all of McKinney. A sister-in-law, Lorene Chappell, of Canton and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Mirilind Cash and Kelly Buchanan for their help and support in the final days and hours. Graveside services are pending at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Samaritan Inn of Collin County or the homeless shelter of your choice.
