Mary Catherine Hamilton's Obituary
Age 83 passed away suddenly on September 28, 2015. Mary was born in Duluth Minnesota on April 12, 1932 to Leonard Gilbertson and Anna Lutwitzi. She lived in Wichita, Kansas with son Stephen where she met and married James E. Hamilton. Moving to Dallas, Texas they owned and operated a donut shop for many years. Mary loved to do crafts, read, and do crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband James, brother Robert Gilbertson, her niece Kathy, and step children Paula and Mark. She is survived by her son Stephen Hamilton (Susan), and grandchildren: Carrie (Eric) Simpson, Kelly, Stephen II, and Mary. Great grandchildren: Alan, Abigail, Madeline, and Meredith Simpson, Peyton Hamilton, Elizabeth and Kaleb McCrady. Her sister Elizabeth Ann, sister-in-law Dewaine Gilbertson, nephews Robert (Linda), James (Betty) and grandnieces: Jennifer and Kimberly, grandnephew Benjamin and their families. She is also survived by her step children James, Stephanie Joy, David (Dianne), Mary Beth (Martin) Levy, Jeffrey, Michael (Karin), and Sarah Jo Smith (Bob), and many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery on Saturday October 3rd at 3:00 pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
