Mary Vashti Collister's Obituary
COLLISTER, MARY VASHTI MCCORMACK Born June 13, 1924 in Altona, IL and passed away March 26, 2013 peacefully at Senior Care at Onion Creek in Austin, TX. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Collister; brothers, Harold McCormack and DL (Mac) McCormack; sisters, Lois Allison, Fern Heller and Gladys Yarger. She is survived by her sons, Guy Collister and wife Deborah, Gary Collister and wife Kim, and Greg Collister; sister, Marie Kemp and husband John. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Brent Collister, Cade Collister, Christina Hirsch, Ashlee Loudin, Jenny Keylor and Laura Collister. Mary leaves behind 13 beautiful great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, March 29, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
