Mary June Davis' Obituary
Mary Davis was number 10 of 11 children born to Oran and Mary Ellen Davis in the log cabin on the Upper Cibolo Creek in Boerne, TX on June 17, 1935. Mary was a hard working, loving woman with great faith and love for God and her family. She loved her family home in Boerne and her siblings very much. She and her brother George and sister Rachel have a special bond that cannot be measured.
Mary worked for over 30 years at Yellow Freight in Irving where she retired from. She called Rockwall home for over 50 years.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers Houston (Hoot), Harvey, Ben, Joe Davis and sisters Effie May, Brownie, Betty, and Velma. Her son and daughter-in-law Joe and Nancy Grubbs and son-in-law Larry Burch.
She is survived by her children, Sissy Burch, Loretta Dozier, Laura Smith, David Grubbs and numerous grand and great-grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly.
Mary went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2023 with her family at her side. She was a beautiful soul and will be truly missed.
