Mary V. Dunagan's Obituary
Mary Virginia ( Bedford) Dunagan, 77 was born on June 20, 1939, to Deward and Nadene Bedford in Garland, Texas and passed away on February 25, 2017, in her home. She attended school in Garland and was a member of the choir at Garland at Garland Highschool where she graduated in 1957. She was a career administrative assistant, working at TI as well as working as a legal secretary until her retirement. She married George Dunagan on April 11, 1968, in Tulsa, OK they were married for 43 years until his passing in January 2012. Mary is a member of First Baptist church of Wylie Texas and was a member of Eastern Star, Red Hatters and a Shriners lady with Akdar Shrine. She loved to read and was never without her Kindle. She liked to knit, crochet and also made dolls and doll clothing. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Deward and Nadene Bedford McAlister; her loving husband George; and one granddaughter Caitlyn. Mary is survived by her brother Wayne Bedford and his wife Linda of Meridan, Mississippi; children Alan-Michael and his wife Tammy Jo Dunagan of Aurora, IL; Sharon and Brian Holt of Wylie, Texas, Charles Albert and Tara Dunagan of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Ashley, Dustin, Emily, Aidan, and Avery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mary will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 10:00 AM at The Wildwood Chapel
