Mary Foster lived a life full of love, laughter, and faith. For Mary, family was always the center of her heartfelt concern, family was her pride, and family was the principle drive in her life. She was born on January 11, 1921, s Read Obituary

My memories of my Grandmother are well varied but they are all based on the same simple principle....respect you give respect you get respect...the first basic rule is simple you disobey and you would be disciplined by her regardless of age or who your parents where...I remember testing this simple rule just one time I raised my voice thinking I was all that and Grandma simply sat down in a chair motioned for me to come over and bent me over her lap and with 2 swats told me to never raise your voice at an elder as she has been around a lot longer than I have and knows things I have yet to learn....I shed my tears and swallowed my pride but from that point on I always respected those around and especially my elders as I learned they are wise and have many things to teach and show us. I always enjoyed spending time with her she never failed to have a gift of some kind for me (usually jewelry) but the last great memory was just us two sitting at a families house and talking and I expressed some thoughts and concerns and she just looked me in the eye took my hand and simply said "I don't care whats important is that you are my grandchild and I love you, that is all that should matter". She accepted me regardless of the situation was/became it was the simple fact I was her Granddaughter and that is all I need to know is that one person loved me regardless and that is something I will pass on to my daughter to learn that as long as the person that matters the most accepts you then everything else is of no concern. God has his special angel with him now who will watch over us and protect us from above she is now where she is needed the most.
I was blessed to have Mama, as I called her, as my mother-in-law. She welcomed me into the family with opened arms. I often was introduced to others as a daughter instead of a daughter-in-law, and that made me feel special. I appreciated the caring concern she extended to me. She will be missed by many.
Lovingly,
Janet
My mother was a special person, sent from God, to love and care for us. She saw to it that we children had everything we needed. Her strength and encouragement always helped to guide me towards making good choices. I’m blessed that she introduced me to Christianity. She will be in my heart forever.
I love you, Mom!

What a wonderful experience it has been to grow up with Mary as my mother. For me there is no one else above her. She personified unconditional love and was always on my side. My heart breaks today but I will always have her with me; right here in my heart! Hugh White
