Mary Frances Glenn, 77, of Richardson, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Chester and Opal Cunningham, Mary lived most of her life in Richardson, Texas.Mary graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City and served as President of the Future Homemakers of America. After High School, she married John Glenn in 1959 and moved to Huntsville, Alabama. They moved back to the Dallas area in the early 1960’s and settled in Richardson, Texas. She was a devoted mother to her four children and was known to be incredibly generous. In her later years she enjoyed working in her garden, bird watching and spending time with her family.Mary is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Bill) Day, Mary (Monte) Bodine, Jennifer (Mike) Bates, son John (Donna) Glenn, brother Tom Cunningham (Nora), sister Ann Wiggs, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years John Glenn, brother Don Cunningham, and parents Chester and Opal Cunningham.Graveside service is at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
