She truly enjoyed creating sculpture and associating with fellow artists in the Texas Sculpture Association and other artist organizations. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse S. Harris, a home and apartment builder. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Harris Kosanke, and her husband, John, of Garland, Texas; her son, Douglas L.
