Mary Alfieri Hull's Obituary
HULL, MARY ALFIERI – Born on October 23, 1935 in the village of Clermont, PA, the daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Mary and Anthony Alfieri. After a long illness, she passed away peacefully at her Dallas home on August 20, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a passion for reading, gourmet cooking, gardening and travel. While raising her family, a desire to acquire a college education provided her the energy to earn a degree at Northeastern University of Illinois. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harold and 2 daughters and 2 sons as noted: Ingrid Kopf and her husband, Rick Kopf, Susan Last and her husband Lee Last, Michael Hull and his wife Nancy Golden Hull, and Dr. Robert Hull of Atlanta, GA. She was adored by her four grandchildren, Cassie Walker, Kristin Kopf, Kevin Kopf and Kali Kopf and by numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Hull of Niantic, CT and Shirley Alfieri of Smethport, PA. and brother-in-law, Robert Hull of Silver Springs, NY. Two brothers, Dominic Alfieri of Smethport, PA and Joseph Alfieri of St. Mary’s, PA preceded her in death. A visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 PM on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. A private grave side ceremony will held on Thursday, August 23. In lieu of flowers and in recognition of her love of reading, donations may be made in her memory to the Smethport Hamlin Library, 123 South Mechanic Street, Smethport, Pennsylvania 16749
