Mary Jane Schwinn's Obituary
Mary Jane Schwinn, age 88 of Wylie, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 15th 2024 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 3rd 1936 in Rego Park, New York to Henry and Beatrice Mekre.
On December 3rd 1955, Mary Jane married Arthur John Schwinn, and together they built a beautiful family. They were blessed with four children and countless joyful memories. In 1979, the Schwinn family relocated to Texas.
Mary Jane found joy in cooking and trying out new recipes, tending to her yard, and spending quality time with her family. She especially loved hosting family gatherings for every birthday and holiday season creating cherished memories for everyone!
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Christensen and Linda Hogue; grandchildren, Megan Christensen, Paige Loera, Kayla Hogue, Kambrie Hogue, Sandy Valladares and Kyle Compton; along with six great-grandchildren Emma, Phoebe, Archer, Leo, Logan and Dominic. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Schwinn; her son, Stephen Schwinn; and her daughter, Kathleen Compton.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts!
