Mary Joe McDuffee's Obituary
Mary Joe (Martin) McDuffee and passed away on May 7, 2017, born to Ethel and Joe Burleson Martin in Frankston, Anderson County, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Whorton Leon McDuffee; parents, and sister, Geraldine Morgan and her husband Charles. She grew up in Dallas from an early age and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, January 1936 class. She was a past president of the Mothers Club of SMU and a long-time member of Park Cities Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Hasty (Neal) of Dallas and granddaughter, Amy Hay (Cullen) of Bellare and Jillian Goeifankamp (Jonathan) of Longview and six great-grandchildren, Elise and Sydney and Griffith Hay, Austin, Thomas and Andrew Greifenkamp. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Restland Memorial Park in the Highland Gardens section. In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial gift to Visiting Nurses Association of Dallas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
