Mary Jo Haptonstall's Obituary
Mary Jo Haptonstall, age 86, peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2014. She was born in Lubbock, Texas, on May 7, 1928, to Ernest and Dale Jennings. Jo was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 58 years, Jack Junior Haptonstall. She is survived by her loving son: Henry Judson Haptonstall (Lisa); grandchild, Kayrin Burgess (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Madeleine and Cassandra Burgess. Jo grew up in Grand Saline, Texas; graduated from Grand Saline High School, and married her husband, Jack, in 1951. Together they created J. Haptonstall Realtors in Dallas in 1962. Throughout her life, Jo was known for her devotion to her family, real estate associates and business. Jo truly enjoyed helping families find their homes. Jo was a faithful member of Northlake Baptist Church in Lake Highlands and later First Baptist in Dallas. Her family and friends will miss her beautiful, sweet countenance and cherish her memory. The Memorial Service for Mary will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
