Mary Elizabeth Kaiser's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth was born July 15, 1940 in Dallas, TX and earned her heavenly wings on October 20, 2016 in Plano, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.D. “Bill” Kaiser, parents, Leslie and Pauline Bills, daughter-in-law, Amy Kaiser, son-in-law, Paul Reed and granddaughter, Angela Nicole Reed. She is survived by her children, Leslie Wright and Stephen Kaiser, grandchildren, Brittany Johnson, (Rickey), Zak Kaiser, Lisa Wright, Emma Kaiser and Madison Hill, great grandchildren, Brayden and Cody Johnson, sisters, Betty Smith and Lisa Logan (Charles) and numerous nieces and nephews and beloved friends. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:00-8:00 PM with family present from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2016 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Mary had many names, she was Marlizbeth to her family and high school friends, Liz to her CCA and church family and business partners, Auntie Mary to the nieces and nephews, Nana to the grandchildren and Nana-Nana to the great grandchildren. She graduated from North Dallas High School in 1958 and was on the drill team there. She married her husband Bill on November 24, 1961. Together they were the owners of Kaiser Exxon for 30 years. She was the organist and pianist at Central Park Baptist Church and directed the choir and served on the Resident Council at Lakeview at Josey Ranch. Mary Elizabeth enjoyed crafting, playing bingo and Rumikube, playing the piano and organ and singing, arranging flowers and collecting. She was a blessing to everyone she encountered and left a lasting memory. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Prestonwood Rehab and Nursing Center and Compass Hospice for their incredible care provided to Mary Elizabeth and the entire family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
