Mary Jane LaRoche's Obituary
LAROCHE, MARY JANE STEVENS born February 1, 1929 in Ft. Worth, TX and passed away February 28, 2013 in Dallas, TX. Janie graduated from Boyd High School in McKinney, TX. She went to Texas Women’s Univeristy for 2 years and she also attended Univeristy of Texas for 2 years where she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. Janie moved to Midland, TX in 1950 and met the love of her life, William LaRoche and married August 16, 1952. She was a devoted Christian, mother and homemaker who showed unconditional love to her husband, 2 daughters and 4 adoring grandchildren. She loved nothing more than being with family. She was a member of Craigs Class, Dallas Women’s Club and Wedding Ring Sunday school class. Janie is now with our Heavenly Father. Rest in Peace. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Nenney Stevens and father, George Abraham Stevens; son, William E. LaRoche, Jr. and brother, George Stevens. Janie is survived by her husband of 60 years, William E. LaRoche; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Steve Vest and Libby Gann; grandchildren, Hunter Vest, Ann Marie and Jay Herbst, William Gann and Clayton Gann. Service will be held on March 4, 2013 at 3:00 PM at University Park United Methodist Church, 4024 Caruth Blvd, Dallas, TX 75225. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to University Park Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
