Went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 27, 1928 in Navarro County. She was the youngest of 6 children born to Charlie and Martha Ann Henson. She had 5 siblings born to Charlie and Maybelle Henson. Mary married Ernest Lawson on December 24, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, one sister, step-mother, 4 half-brothers and her husband. She is survived by 3 daughters, Mary Ann Laningham of Grapeland, Earnestine La Beau of Princeton and Donna Michelle White Fisher of Irving; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 half-brother; 1 half-sister and 2 close friends, Aileen Tucker and Jackie Cramer.
