Layer, Mary Helen, age 70 of Plano, TX passed away June 10, 2012. She was born on May 5, 1942 in Dallas, TX. to her parents Melesis and Josephine Torres. She was a longtime resident of Plano, TX and was retired from Nissan of McKinney as a Title Clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Layer. She is survived by her children, Sammy Chavez, Marcus Chaves, Steve and Joy Layer; and grandchildren, Jacob, Chelsea and Sterling and also by a grandson, Marcus DeWayne Cameron; and brothers, Ernest and James and by Sisters, Frances and Virginia. Graveside services will be 12 Noon, Wed., June 13, 2012 in the Restland Memorial Park.
