Mary Agnes Martin Kinard's Obituary
KINARD, MARY AGNES MARTIN Of Dallas passed away Oct. 16th, 2011 after an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Mary completed her MBA at ETSU in 1951. She married Newell Kinard on July 28th, 1951 and they celebrated 60 years together. She retired after 31 years as a manager and auditor at Southwestern Bell. She is survived by her husband, Newell; daughter, Karen Kinard Sowers; son-in-law, Mark Sowers; grandchildren, Lauren and Dane Sowers; sister, Bobbye Shaw; brother-in-law, Wendel Shaw; and dozens of beloved nieces and nephews. Mary, Ma, was loved by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Restland on Tuesday, Oct. 18th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Services will be held at Restland Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 19th at 3:30 pm. Interment to follow at Restland. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
