Mary Lee Mhoon's Obituary
Mary Lee Mhoon, 88, of Rockwall, Texas died on September 8, 2021 in Rockwall, Texas of her desire to be with Jesus. She was born October 22, 1932 to Aubrey Hoffman and Tina Hoffman in Frankston, Texas.
She married Charles W. Mhoon on July 2, 1964 in Mesquite, Texas. She was a loyal employee of Minyard Food Stores her entire career. She retired from her position as a head auditor. She was an active member of Vansickle Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by daughters Shelley Mascorro and spouse Tony (Rockwall, TX) and Barbara Brannon and spouse Joe (Quinlan, TX); sons Mark Lilly and spouse Susan (Greenville, TX) and Kevin Mhoon and spouse Theresa (Quinlan, TX); 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Tina Hoffman; her husband, Charles W. Mhoon; and her son, Chuck Mhoon.
Mary was a very good listener and gave wise counsel. She loved her babies, and even though she denied it, she loved dogs. She was well respected for her sweet and gentle spirit. She was held in high regard in the workplace. Above all else she was a godly lady who loved the Lord.
