I grew up with Shelly back in the day when we were cute little BFF's! We happen to share the exact same birthday,now that doesn't happen very often! I remember hanging out at Shelly's house all the time,and going fishing with her Dad. Charles was always picking on us, and I remember staying up all night playing Monopoly and making grilled hamburger's! Mary always treated me like another daughter, she was always so sweet! When my Dad passed away 3 yrs ago, she donated alot of stuff for our garage sale, when she was selling her house. I remember her walking me through the almost empty house, so many memories! I worked with Mary at Minyard's when she was an auditor, she taught me so much! She will be missed, but never forgotten. Mary, say hi to my Mom when you get to Heaven, I miss her dearly! 😘
My hair was Snow White when I was a little girl my mom Frances would perm my hair and burn it all the time. When I would see my aunt Mary she would laugh and say did your mother perm your hair again. Aunt Mary was such a special lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
I always thought that it was funny that she went on her first date with my dad to the lake to fish, not dinner or dancing or a movie. She didn't even want to go but my Aunt Harriet kept insisting, so she told her let's get it over with :) all their dates were like that or her sitting with him while he worked a second job. Pretty special lady to tolerate that if you ask me.
