Mary Lou Nicewarner's Obituary
Mary Lou Nicewarner, aged 82, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1942, in Royse City, Texas, to James and Ada Cook King.
She was a longtime member of Marsh Lane Baptist Church, where she actively participated in church activities.
Mary Lou will be remembered fondly for her love of her family, her commitment to her faith in Jesus, her enjoyment of playing cards and dominos, and for the countless hours spent watching the Food Network.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Nicewarner; and her parents, Ada and James Cook.
Mary Lou is survived by her son, Scott Nicewarner and his wife, Christie; her daughter, Gena Brown; her grandchildren, Alan Nicewarner, Rebecca Temple and her husband Jacob Temple, Colton English and his wife Jenna English, Shelby Rogers and her fiance Daevoddrick Williams; and multiple great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. at Marsh Lane Baptist Church on Friday March the 8th, with visitation an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church in Mary Lou’s memory. Contributions may be made by selecting “Missions Fund” from the drop-down menu at www.mlbc.org/give.
