I miss you so much, momma-cakes! It was an honor to be your daughter, and I hope I can continue to make you proud through my actions. You set a high standard for us as we were growing up… I felt like I disappointed you at times, but I realize now, you were trying to make us be the best versions of ourselves as possible. I love you so much. I feel empty and lost without you here. We were the Steel Magnolias… in every difficult situation, we pulled together and we got things done… and we usually had a few laughs along the way. There are so many happy memories I have with you that I will cherish. I know we will see each other again. Until then, I will look for the signs you are with me in spirit. ??
