Mary Ellen Norton's Obituary
Born March 29, 1928 in Winfield, KS and moved and resided in Texas since 1946. Mary went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2012. Mary was preceded in death by husbands Robert Dois Winstead (1957) and Donald Ray Norton (1999), father O.B.Wise, mother Helen Wise, brother Bernie Wise, and sister Nancy Hodges. Mary is survived by son Alan Winstead, daughter Judy Frazier Barber & son-in-law Robert Barber. Three grandchildren Kimberly Renee Korenek her husband Donald Korenek, Robert Don Frazier, Dr. Kristy Ellen Anderson her husband Dr. Todd Anderson. Six great grandchildren, Cole, Emma, and Kaden Korenek, Justin, Christopher, and Katelyn Anderson. Mary retired from Texas Instruments after 37 1 1/2 yrs of service and she moved back to Kansas to take care of her sister, 2- uncles, aunt, husband and mother until their deaths. Mary was a real-estate broker/agent up until the time she became ill. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Udall, KS, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Visitations will be at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, TX, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 5 PM – 7 PM. Services will be held at Restland in the Wildwood Chapel on Thursday May 17, 2012, at 12:30 PM.
