Mary Redus' Obituary
REDUS, MARY BATES 89, passed away June 1 st, 2012 in Irving, Texas. Mary was born December 5th, 1922, in Arkansas, to George and Lena Bates. She attended Adamson High School in Dallas, TX where she met Bill Redus. They were married in Dallas, December 6th, 1940. Mary is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bill Redus; daughter, Billette Kincy, grandson, Bob Meeks wife Beverly and their children, Natacha Meeks, Elizabeth Meeks, Christopher Meeks wife Autumn and their children, Trevor, Hanna and Mallory Meeks; grandaughter, Darla Wick and her son Thomas Cantrell; grandson, Bill Meeks wife Heather and their children, Jacob Meeks, Camille Meeks and Stephen Meeks; 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Mary was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and devoted wife. She loved shopping, cooking, taking care of her husband and was an artist. She and her husband traveled the United States for 20 years. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Monday, June 4th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 12 noon, Tuesday, June 5th at Restland Abbey Chapel.
