Mrs. Mary Margarett Mays Richardson. 93, was born to the parentage of William and Beulah May Mays on August 20, 1930. Mrs. Richardson passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024.
Mrs. Richardson worked as a clerical assistant for many years of her life for wholesale companies. She loved spending time with her family and church family and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Cockrell Hill. Fishing with her husband, card games, watching the Dallas Mavericks, and talking on the phone were a few of her favorite hobbies.
Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah May Mays, grandparents, 1 son Roy Michael Richardson, 1 daughter Annie Lou Richardson and 2 brothers Jessie Joe Mays and Johnny Calvin Mays.
Mrs. Richardson was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother! Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of almost 66 years, Mr. Hollis Ellic Richardson; 2 sons Larry Joe Jackson, Carl Wayne Richardson, 1 brother, Billy Jean Mays; 14 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 35 great-great grandchildren; and her best friends Pastor Rob and Tommie Keith whom she loved dearly.
