Mary Elizabeth Schweikhard's Obituary
SCHWEIKHARD, MARY ELIZABETH Born December 9, 1920 to Wilfred and Emma Markley in Ft. Benton, Montana, passed away on February 2, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 ‘ years, Warren, her parents, brothers and sisters, and a grandson, David Aderholt. She is survived by her daughters; Cathy Cunningham (Glenn); Joan Aderholt (Noel); Mary Sue Zoch ( Nelson); five grandchildren; Traci Tegman (Dan), Diane, Brian, Kevin Aderholt, Andy Zoch; one great-grandson, Gunnar Tegman and several nieces and a nephew. Mary grew up in Boynton, OK and dedicated her life at an early age to serving her Lord Jesus Christ through her remarkable God-given talent of playing the piano. She was the organist for Agent-Bradley Funeral Home and First Christian Church in Muskogee, OK for m any years before moving to Dallas, TX in 1960. She taught piano from her early teens to her mid-70s. She passed her talents and love of music on to her daughters and loved nothing more than to have them by her side singing as she played. While suffering the effects of pneumonia, Mary played for her last church service the week before she died. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2008 with a celebration of her life at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home.
