November 29, 1946 — August 26, 2020 In Richardson
Preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Brunken
Survived by her beloved husband Jeff Smith; her children Lisa and son-in-law Manuel, Shannon and son-in-law Bruce, Jeffery, and Laura and son-in-law Kevin; her grandchildren Daniel, Marissa, Ashleigh, Emily, Audrey, Clara, Kayla and Connor; her brother John Brunken and sister-in-law Moira, sisters-in-law Priscilla Largent, Teresa Wimberly, Toni Breedlove, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 1-4pm at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10am at the Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Tx.
Joanne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. Her kindness and unconditional love for her family and friends were a true blessing. She was the rock of her family. Her endless love, support and encouragement will be greatly missed.
