MARY LOUISE THOELE (Sarg) born on February 17, 1926, in LeRoy, Illinois toEdward Fordyce Sargent and Ada Murray Pfitzenmeyer Sargent, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. Mary Lou moved from Indiana to Dallas in 2013 to be near her children. She graduated as a Fine Arts major from Illinois Wesleyan in 1949. She loved crafts, knitting, painting, and playing golf & bridge. She was active in community organizations & church. Mary Lou was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church in Carmel, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Thoele in 2004 and survived by her son and family: Chuck & Beth Thoele, Nick Thoele, Brooke & Andrew Russo; her daughter and family: Leigh & Bob Lanham, Whitney Lanham, Nathan & Jennifer Lanham, Mary Clare & Catherine Lanham.A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 27, 2017, at 2:30 pm at the Monie Chapel, Presbyterian Village North, 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas, TX 75243. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in LeRoy, IL at a date to be determined.Contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Village North Foundation; please specify the resident’s assistance fund and mail to the address listed above.
