Mary Louise Van Holland's Obituary
VAN HOLLAND, MARY LOUISE Tears from heaven brought Mary Van Holland home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She left many loved ones to witness the glorious day to follow with sun and rainbows to rejoice at her arrival with her Lord, family and friends. She will not suffer any of the pain she knew, for she has all the love and warmth of her heavenly family. Her life spoke of accomplishments, rewards and grace that brought happiness to her first husband, Russell and later, her late husband, Dick along with her sons, Darrell, Randy and Steve. The years spoke of hard work for Mary, but no complaints were ever spoken. She will miss her beloved grandchildren, Rachel, Sonya, Shawn, Tyler and Erika. But she was blessed with a long life to be able to enjoy her great-grandchildren David, Christian, Jordan, Taylor and Austin. She loved her daughters-in-law Kathy, Debbie and Bobbi like they were the daughters she never had. She wanted to thank her grandson’s wife Abby and her granddaughter’s husband, Tommy for making her grandchildren so happy. She was accepted with love and warmth by her stepdaughter Lou Anne and husband, Rick, along with their children Ricky and Michael and her stepson, Dale. Mary also wanted to say to her special friend Kyle, you made me laugh and were the best medicine I could have had. You were there throughout my lonely days, my sleepless nights and have always extended your love through thought, word and deed. My appreciation and love forever. We will love and miss her greatly, but as we know she would say, do not grieve for me, for I am finally free. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Restland Memorial Park.
