Mary Evelyn Wheeler, 75, passed away Friday, April 19 in Dallas, TX. She was born on September 28, 1948 in Dallas, TX to Lonnie and Lucille Williams. She was currently residing in Mesquite, TX.
Mary worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas for over 40 years. She was active in her community, especially in her children’s schools. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Cora, and their daily phone calls; time with family and her dogs; and lunches with friends.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Kathryn (Katy); her son, William Rush; daughter-in-law, Linsey; granddaughter, Cora; sister, Nelda Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Her dog, Buster, misses her dearly.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Ronald (Bill) Wheeler; parents, Lonnie and Lucille Williams; her brothers: Troy Williams, Lonnie Williams, and Donald Williams; and her beloved dog, Bailey.
