Mary Don Wilkerson's Obituary
Mary Don Wilkerson, 93 of Gladewater, Texas, died on 9/12/2021 in Gladewater. She was born May 31, 1928 to Don Fowler Sr., and Georgia Fowler in Shreveport, LA. She was married to James C. Wilkerson.
Mary worked for Southwestern Bell for over 30 years both in Marshall, Texas and Garland, Texas in the early 1960's. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Garland, Texas. Her greatest joy was becoming a mother in 1955. Mary enjoyed many years with her daughter, Lee Ann, traveling and eventually moving to Hideway Lake in 2018. After the death of her daughter, she moved to Liberty City to be with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Wilkerson; Lee Ann Wilkerson, her daughter; Billy Fowler and Don Fowler, Jr. her brothers; Joan Berry and Marguerite Guinn, her sisters.
She is survived by Nieces: Georgia Joiner, Jame McCary and Nancy Woodard; her Nephews: Andy Guinn and Kelly Fowler. Also there several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
