Mary Jo Wilson's Obituary
Mary Jo Wilson, who celebrated 93 years on this Earth, passed away on November 13, 2020 in Mesquite, Texas.
Mary Jo was born on November 5, 1927 in Kaufman County, Texas to Horace and Edna Hefner. She married Seth Edward Wilson Jr. on August 21, 1943 in Dallas, Texas and will be remembered as a loving homemaker to her beloved family. Mary Jo was a member of the United States Bowling Congress and very much enjoyed her league bowling and annual trips to the casinos. Her home was always the place for family gatherings and always open for anyone who needed a place to stay.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Seth Wilson Jr., and her daughter, Donie Sue Beasley.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Morris of Mesquite, Texas; daughter, Sandra Butler of Houston, Texas; and sister, Nelda Edwards of Coppell, Texas; Mary Jo raised 3 grandkids as her own: Craig, Teresa, and John Anthony. She also had three other grandsons: Chris, Philip and Andrew; 20 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She is deeply loved and missed.
