Maryellen Jean Coldiron's Obituary
Born on December 28, 1922, in St. Louis , Missouri to William Marvin Hudgins and Elizabeth Ann Ruesing. She attended Washington University and was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She married Henry Barr ” Tex” Coldiron on June 26, 1943. In 1956, the family moved to Richardson, where Maryellen soon became secretary to the superintendent ( J.J Pearce) and after his retirement, secretary to the school board. She was active in her Presbyterian congregation, she did volunteer work in their clothes closet for many years. She is survived by her son, Michael and grandson Baxter. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, at 1:00 PM in The First Presbyterian Church of Richardson located at 271 N. Walton Street, with a graveside to follow.
