Mattie Lee Caronna's Obituary
Mattie Lee Caronna, was born on Feb 13, 1938 the daughter of Marvin and Cecil Peek. Following a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Mattie went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2019. Mattie married John Caronna on January 26, 1963. Mattie was a secretary/bookkeeper for over 50 years for the same firm in Dallas. Mattie was preceded in death by her parents and he beloved husband “Johnny”. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Most of all, she loved being with her family.Mattie is survived by her son Gary and wife Tammy Caronna, brother Marvin Peek, granddaughter Tiffany and husband Steve Silvidi, granddaughter Brittany and husband Aaron Fuller, great granddaughter Bailey Fuller, nieces Jennifer, Janet, and Jessica. Several great nieces and nephews.There will be a graveside service for Mattie will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00 am at Restland Cemetery located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.The family is asking that as your heart is lead donations to Alzheimer’s Association be made in her name.
