Mattie Fern Chambers' Obituary
Mattie Fern Chambers was born to Charles and Emlie McCleery on March 11, 1928 in Chouteau, Oklahoma and passed away on November 23, 2016. She was 88 years old. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, four brothers and one sister. Mattie is survived by daughter Kathy Wooten and husband Keith Wooten of Paris, Texas and daughter Teresa Harris and husband Johnny Harris of Little Elm, Texas. Mattie had 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mattie was in the hospitality business for over 35 years. She never met a stranger and she loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Medical City of Plano for the wonderful care that they provided for her. A graveside service for Mattie Chambers will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Restland Memorial Park with a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
