Maurice McSwain's Obituary
Maurice (Mac) McSwain, born January 31, 1923 passed away peacefully on August 3, 2009 with his family by his side. Mac was a Decorated WWII Veteran and a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He retired from Decker Meats after 38 of service. Proceeded in death by his wife of 42 years Agnes Bryant McSwain. Survived by daughter: Vicki Yandell and husband Jack, sons: Kenneth McSwain and wife Carol, Donald McSwain and wife Bridget, David McSwain and Phillip McSwain and wife Pam. Grandchildren: Todd Yandell, Brad Yandell, Kenny McSwain Jr., Kimberly McSwain, Josh McSwain and Cary McSwain. Great-Grand children: Kendall, Isabella and Brooklyn. Brothers: Gene McSwain & Sam McSwain. Mac is also survived by his mother-in-law Lavada Bryant, his dear friend Marie and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 7th at 12:30 pm at Restland Funeral Home in the Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, August 6th from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
