Maxine Hinojosa's Obituary
Maxine was a beautiful, wonderful, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed many hobbies. She loved to sew and sewed many clothing items for the children and grandchildren. She had a creative talent and designed many quilt patterns. She made many quilts, many of which were gifts to children and grandchildren. She loved working with arts and crafts and designed and made many for her friends and neighbors. She had a special talent for cooking and loved to cook for family and visitors. She loved her flower garden and loved to walk around in the early morning viewing the flowers and listening to the birds sing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Argyle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Raphaela Lopez, sister; Carolina Figueroa, brother; Pablo Lopez, daughters; Elisa Benavides, Helen Saldana, and grandchild, Kathrine Martens. She is survived by her husband, Vidal Hinojosa (Denton), 3 daughters; Elida Urtado and husband, Alfred, Yvonne McKaig and husband, Tom, Yvette Turnbaugh and husband, Michael, sister; Maria Alexander and husband, Michael, as well as, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Service for Maxine Hinojosa will be on Tuesday, January 6, at 10:00 am in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel with Reverand Jack Washington officiating. Interment Restland Memorial Park.
