Maxine Sherman Majano's Obituary
Maxine Sherman Majano was born February 3, 1934 in Almo, Arkansas to Odus and Ida Inez (Ryan) Sherman. She passed away October 25, 2017 in Lewisville, Texas. She was 83 years of age.Mrs. Majano was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Denver Sherman and Paul Sherman.She leaves behind to cherish her memory her dear husband, Frank Majano; daughters, Susan Majano Vance and Alicia Majano Good; grandsons, Aaron Good, Brian Vance, Stephen Good and Mark Vance; four brothers, Otis Sherman, Wendell Sherman, Kenneth Sherman, and Alton Sherman; her sister, Dora Ellen Sherman Huffman; many cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and dear friends.Family will receive friends on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Please stop by the reception desk and the funeral home staff will escort you back to staterooms E-F. The service will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel Restland Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Waco officiating and DeLisa Venz as vocalist. Following the service, there will be a short procession to the graveside where Mrs. Majano will be laid to rest in the Garden of Freedom. Ryan Atkinson, Aaron Good, Stephen Good, Brian Vance, Jim Vance, and Mark Vance will serve as pallbearers.Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
