Maymedele C. Pfiester's Obituary
Maymedele Cermin Pfiester, born on August 20, 1923, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 101 in Little Elm, Texas. Her journey through life was marked by warmth, kindness, and a vibrant spirit that touched everyone she met.
Maymedele grew up in San Antonio and graduated from G.W. Brackenridge High School in 1941. That same year, she married Robert Pfiester, and they remained devoted to each other until his passing in 1999, sharing a span of 58 years of matrimony. Together, they had four children, all born in San Antonio. In the mid-1950s, the family moved to Houston, Texas, before finally settling in Richardson in 1963. She made Richardson her home for 42 years, working with the Richardson Independent School District (RISD) and becoming a beloved member of the community. In 2005, she moved to Little Elm, where she continued to spread joy and love.
Known for her welcoming aura, Maymedele never met a stranger. Her charming smile and boisterous laugh were her trademarks, and she was known for her strong, resonant voice. She was a soloist in her church choir and even released an album with them, sharing her musical talents with many.
Maymedele was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son Bill; and grandson Brad. She is survived by her three daughters, Melinda Flatt (Biff), Diane Morgan (Don), Patti Snow (Jimmy); grandchildren, Chris Flatt, Amy Morgan, Wendy Flatt Bohmann (Dave), Bryan Morgan (Racheal), Colbey Snow (Randi); great-grandchildren, Dillon Bohmann, Emma Bohmann, Easton Morgan, Parker Morgan, Liam Snow, River Snow; and countless extended friends who will carry on her legacy of love, laughter, and warmth. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
