Mayna Latimer's Obituary
Born May 3, 1922 in Boaz, Alabama and passed away on March 30, 2007 in Garland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, SM/Sgt. Richard Eli Latimer, Sr., USAF retired; son, 1st Lt. Richard Eli Latimer, Jr., USMC-KIA Vietnam; parents, Columbus and Myrtle Mize; sister, Maggie Mize Black; half-sister, Burma Mize Lock; and half-brother, Deckard Mize. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Carol Latimer Richie and husband, Don; granddaughter, Amanda Michelle Richie; sister, Layunna Mize Bridgeman; sister-in-laws, Melba Latimer and Mary Latimer; brother-in-law, Ralph Willoughby Latimer, Jr. and wife Ruby; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mayna was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and also an American Gold Star Mother.
