Megan Bridgitte Struick's Obituary
Megan Bridgitte Struick, 50, a beautiful spirit, loving wife and mother of three passed away suddenly on January 14, 2024. Megan was born on July 18, 1973, in London, Ontario, Canada. Megan survived a congenital heart defect as a child that helped to shape her essence. Megan grew up happy, curious, determined, and affectionate.
Megan graduated from Mt Lebanon High School in 1991 and went on to study English at the University of Lancaster, in England prior to transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After graduating with a degree in English she embarked on a career in corporate recruiting where she met the love of her life, Gary. Megan and Gary married in 2007 and they went on to have three children.
Megan retired as a Senior Director at Price Waterhouse Coopers to devote more time to her family. She was a loving mother, wife, and friend. Megan was a genuine soul, who lived life to the fullest, while having the utmost compassion for her family and friends. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Megan is survived by her husband, Gary Struick; her three children, Aidan, Grace, and Hadley Jane; parents, David and Grace Phelps; her brother, Mick Wilson and his wife, Melissa and their children, Jakob, Kylie, Olivia, Ben, and Cameron. Also surviving are her in-laws, Carlos and Elizabeth Randall, Dan and Cindy Struick, along with her extended family.
A viewing will be held from 5-7pm at Restland Funeral Home with the vigil starting at 6pm. Restland is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday the 24th at 10am at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 1201 Alma Drive, Plano, TX 75075.

It feels like Megan left us too soon, but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of her life far exceeded how much time we had with her. May she find eternal peace and comfort while we continue to celebrate her life and legacy every day.
Family and friends gathering will follow immediately after funeral mass, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Struick residence in Lewisville, Texas from 12:30 - 3:00 pm.
