Meghana "Madhuri" Joshi's Obituary
Meghana Joshi, 60, passed away on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 in her home in Richardson, Texas after two years of fighting an aggressive cancer. Meghana was born on April 29th, 1958 in Nagpur, India to Nilkantha and Shalini Godbole. She earned a degree from the J.J. College of Architecture in 1979 which ultimately led to a successful career in the United States. Over the course of her life, she developed a passion for the arts, especially oil painting and ceramics. Meghana was also a beloved yoga instructor and a loving and supportive wife and mother. Her spirit will continue to live on through family, friends and those who she taught and inspired.She is survived by Vijay, her husband of 38 years, and her two children, Nikhil and Pallavi.The memorial service for Meghana will be held at Restland Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at 7:00 pm.Funeral Arrangements for Madhuri are under the care of Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
