RODGERS, MELBA J. THOMAS born October 29, 1932 in Dallas, TX and passed away June 15, 2013 in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.T. Thomas and Gladys Gross Thomas and her sister, Betty Thomas. Melba is survived by her daughter, Kawana Simms and husband, James; little Duke and other loving relatives and family. Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Restland Abbey Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity in her name.
