Melinda S. Henson, 63, of Wylie, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019, in Rowlett, Texas. She was born on Thursday, May 10, 1956, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Weldon Henson and Molly Jeanette Walker in Texas. Melinda was a teacher and a caregiver. She loved being Grammy to Cailey Abbe, Caleb Abbe, Braxton Jones, and Molly Jones. She loved God, family, friends, and Dolly Parton with all her heart. She is survived by her daughters, Kristina Jones of Wylie, Texas and Chelsey Long of Dallas, Texas, her son, Andrew Jones of Wylie, Texas and her brother, Wendell Henson of Hutchins, Texas. Melinda will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.Funeral services for Melinda will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Graveside following, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.Funeral arrangements for Melinda S.
