Melissa A. Goreham , age 61, passed away 7-17-21 in the arms of her husband RJ Goreham at their home in Garland Texas. Melissa was surrounded by her family when she went to be with the Lord. She was a loving mother (Mom and Momma), grand mother (Mellie), daughter, most special sister, and the love of her husbands life!
Born in Sacramento CA. to Charles and Linda Forbus. As a baby, the family moved to Dallas Tx. where she lived the rest of her life.
Melissa was gifted with a eye and passion for decorating and gardening. She loved to shop and her husband considered her a professional. She loved to buy him the best of everything. She especially loved shopping for her kids and her grand children. She loved to dress up at American Girl Tea Parties with her grand daughters. Her love for the beach was unsurpassed. She loved Cancun and spent most vacations there with friends and family.
Melissa is survived by her beloved husband of 36 yrs. RJ Goreham, 4 children:
(daughter) Kristina and Andy Murto, (Son), Corey and Meg Weitzman, (Daughter) Chelsea and Adam Young, (son) Chase and Allison Goreham. Melissa has 7 grand children and 1 new grand son on the way! She is also survived by her father Charles Forbus, (Mother) Linda and Ken Rada, (sister) Candy Jones, and (brother) Tim and Noe Forbus.
God saw you getting tired.
When a cure was not to be.
